The Goo Goo Dolls - Greatest Hits, Vol 1 - The Singles

Mencoba eksis dengan mencetak album, Goo Goo Dolls (GGD), Grup band asal New York itu langsung mempersiapkan album untuk agenda perilisan di tahun 2008 meski album terbaru mereka berupa greatest hits telah dirilis November 2007 lalu dan akan disusul awal tahun 2008 mendatang.

Album The Goo Goo Dolls "Greatest Hits, Vol 1 - The Singles", di album ini akan
hadir 14 lagu yang tercatat masuk dalam tangga lagu, termasuk lagu pertama GGD yang menembus Hot 100 di tahun 1995, 'Name' yang dibuat dalam versi baru. Album itu juga menampung tembang-tembang seperti Iris dan Slide juga Before It's Too Late yang masuk dalam album soundtrack film Transformers.

Album Vol 2 menurut rencana menyusul keluar Februari 2008 dengan materi berupa lagu-lagu baru, remix, dan lagu dari B-sides.

Sambil menunggu agenda perilisan album greatest hits personel GGD akan kembali berkumpul di Buffalo New York yang merupakan tempat pengerjaan album Let Love In di tahun 2006 untuk menyiapkan album studio mereka berikutnya. Saya akan di studio di Buffalo Januari nanti dan tetap di sana sampai rekaman selesai Juni 2008,ujar John Rzeznik melalui Billboard.com. Ia menambahkan telah memiliki enam sampai delapan lagu dalam kepalanya.
