The Killers - Sawdust

Meski baru merilis dua album, rupanya tidak menjadi halangan bagi Brandon Flowers dan kawan-kawan untuk merilis album kompilasi. Entah ini merupakan sebuah tantangan bagi mereka atau sekedar kehabisan ide untuk membuat lagu baru, eitherway album ini lumayan menghibur.

Paling tidak untuk para penggemar setia The Killers. Dibuka dengan track baru yang cukup kuat yaitu "Tranquilize" featuring Lou Reed (Velvet Underground). Perpaduan vokal Brandon Flowers dan Lou Reed menyatu dengan sempurna dalam lagu ini. Bisa dibilang ini merupakan track favorit saya diantara yang lain.

Track selanjutnya yang menurut saya juga menarik untuk disimak adalah cove version "Shadowplay" dan Kenny Rogers "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town". Mereka berhasil membuat dua tracks ini terdengar seperti tribute dan bukan hanya ingin meminjam lagu orang saja untuk dinyanyikan, which is great.

Atau mungkin penasaran ingin melihat sisi mellow The Killers? Coba dengerin track yang berjudul 'Romeo And Juliet". Selebihnya, album ini berisi tracks familiar yang ada di album terdahulu yang di remix ulang dari album Hot Fuss (2004) dan Sam's Town (2006), sampai lagu-lagu yang tidak sempat dirilis dulu pun ikut dimasukkan di sini.
