Natalie Imbruglia - Glorious: The Singles 1997-2007

Satu hal yang menarik dari Natalie Imbruglia adalah: berapa pun umurnya, style nyanyinya masih sama. Tarikan vokalnya begitu menggoda, dan pemilihan nadanya unik. Dan itu membuat kita gatal untuk memutar lagunya berulang-ulang.

Barisan lagu Natalie memang easy listening. Tapi, harus diakui, aransemen dan tipenya nyaris sama semua. Tipikal lagu Torn, begitulah.

Dari semua lagu yang ditampilkan, semuanya bernuansa serupa. Hasilnya, mood kita bisa menjadi datar. Kurang dinamika, dibanding saat mendengarkan album the best yang lain.

Ada memang lagu yang berbeda. Misalnya Wishing I Was There yang groovy, Amelia, dan That Day yang lebih menohok. Tiga lagu inilah yang mungkin bisa jadi perhatian di album ini, selain singel Torn tentunya.

Buat yang suka lagu enak, album ini bolehlah dikasih kesempatan. Nggak mengecewakan, kok!
