Saosin - Self Titled

Para penggemar musik emo pasti sudah tidak asing lagi dengan Saosin. Band pendatang baru ini beranggotakan 5 cowok dari California. Walau penjualan album self-titled mereka terbilang biasa-biasa saja, musik mereka ternyata cukup mampu membetot hati fans di Indonesia. Buktinya, konser mereka di Tennis Indoor Senayan 20 Mei kemarin, dijubeli 3700 orang lebih.

Gaung nama Saosin sudah terdengar sejak mereka merilis E.P pada tahun 2003. E.P yang berisikan 5 lagu itu ternyata mendapat sambutan hangat. Saat itu perhatian publik tertuju pada dua hal: vokal Anthony Green yang kuat dan ulikan gitar Beau Burchell yang khas. Di antara berjamurnya band-band beraliran sama seperti My Chemical Romance atau Artic Monkey, Anthony Green tidak hanya sekadar berteriak.
