Disini Billy Corgan berusaha membangun kembali masa-masa kejayaan Smashing Pumpkins setelah beristirahat selama beberapa tahun.

Album "Zeitgeist" ini membuktikan bahwa masih ada kekuatan tersisa dari grup ini walaupun tinggal Billy Corgan dan Jimmy Chamberlain.

Mereka memang bekerja keras, dengar saja track 'Doomsday Clock'. Setidaknya usaha mereka patut kita hargai dengan kembalinya mereka dalam format Smashing Pumpkins, setelah era kejenuhan Zwan.
